The role involves assisting experienced Park Rangers in managing Pinecreek Hills and facilitating visitor engagement with the diverse activities available within the National Park. This includes organizing and supervising safaris that showcase the region’s rich wildlife and scenic landscapes.

Responsibilities encompass coordinating events around Bluewaters Lake, Cherokee River, and the newly established Founder’s Hike & Bike Trail. Participants will have opportunities to visit the recently uncovered Aztec Pyramid and contribute to the development of a village dedicated to honoring the Nation’s Veteran Heroes.

Engagement in educational initiatives about local flora and fauna is expected, alongside supporting camping and picnicking experiences by rivers and bayous. Explorations of waterfalls, gorges, caves, and other outdoor attractions will be part of your role. Encouraging visitors to enjoy park trails, participate in nocturnal wildlife observations, and partake in campfire gatherings and barbecues will also be emphasized.

The position promotes nature observation through activities such as wildlife spotting—bears, deer, eagles—and interactive puzzles and games focused on animals, birds, fish, and habitats. There is a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship, with recognition through souvenirs and awards for active participation and conservation efforts.
